Acclaimed poet and author, Bashabi Fraser, explores the historic links between Scotland and India. She will reflect on her life and literary art, whilst reading from some of her uniquely cross-cultural works.

As well as a poet, children’s writer, editor of anthologies, and translator, Bashabi is Lecturer in English and Creative Writing at Edinburgh Napier University. Her books include: Edinburgh: An Intimate City (2000), Tartan and Turban (2004), A Meeting of Two Minds: Geddes Tagore Letters (2008), From the Ganges to the Tay (2009), and Ragas and Reels (2012).

Tickets: £6 (£3 for concessions). Free to SWC members.
